Business Certification

The Local, Small, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (LSDBE) Certification Program is designed to build the capacity of local, small, and disadvantaged businesses and to stimulate economic development in the District of Columbia. District-based small and disadvantaged businesses are eligible to participate in this set-aside program under DC Law 12-268.

Certified businesses that can demonstrate a capacity to provide goods and services to the District government are provided with procurement matching opportunities through the certified LSDBE contractor database and are eligible to join partnerships to assist the District in reaching LSDBE participation goals.
